Our Story

Rural women form the backbone of India’s rural economy, particularly in agriculture where they constitute about 42% of the workforce. Yet, nearly half remain in low-productivity or informal roles, with many lacking access to formal skilling. Social and cultural barriers often limit their opportunities for growth, keeping many dependent on unskilled work. Early marriage, health challenges, and entrenched inequalities further compound their vulnerability.

To address these challenges, the Shrimad Rajchandra Centre of Excellence for Women (COEW) was established. Located on an 11-acre state-of-the-art campus in Dharampur, South Gujarat, COEW empowers rural women through a holistic model. It provides access to skill development, livelihood opportunities, health and education services, wellness programs, and leadership training. COEW also serves as a national model for women-led rural transformation, demonstrating how integrated and locally grounded interventions can unlock equitable development across the country.

Out of COEW operates Raj Kruti, a conscious lifestyle brand under Raj Uphaar, an initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. At its heart, Raj Kruti is about transforming everyday living through objects made with care and lives shaped with dignity. We create lifestyle products that reflect a quiet rhythm. Soft loungewear, functional bags, and serene homeware are designed to bring beauty and intention into daily life.

This initiative empowers women to gain financial independence, skill, and confidence, while our commitment to sustainability ensures that every product is responsibly made and built to last. By choosing Raj Kruti, you support a movement that uplifts women, respects the planet, and brings thoughtfulness back into everyday living. This is the art of everyday, lived with purpose and created with love.
